After many years of adventure, I recently had the privilege of catching up with a friend from the Dakota Sioux communities. A fellow father, logistician, and critical thinker, from a people's that also share proud heritage, history, and ancient traditions. I hope he runs for office too, because he is a far more accomplished leader than me. We conversed on the value of maintaining community cohesion, honor, family traditions, ancestral reverence, and how to connect the energy of our young Americans with elders that have amassed lifetimes of wisdom in human capital. It has never been the will of government bureaucrats from time immemorial before the founding of our nation to the present day to accomplish these objectives. In fact, our own history is littered with examples of minority groups unwittingly subjected to experiments to sinful profit at their expense. We too as every country conducted heinous actions that contradict our revolutionary founding principles of a government that should be beholden to it's people. We are fortunate that we live in so free a society that our America can accept and teach of these past transgressions, unlike for so many other nation states that are our contemporaries. For all the red that colors our Old Glory, our U.S. Constitution now guarantees a concept called sovereignty, which we both swore an oath to uphold and defend many times over. This sovereignty extends not just to Tribal Autonomy, but that of each individual American also. I imagine this is no small part in why his Sioux people's are four times more likely, and the average Native American twice as likely to serve in our all volunteer military force than the average modern American among us. If we want to live in a country that will sufficiently weather the 21st century storms of ecological decay, technology driven autocracy, toxic divisions, massive greed motivated institutional corruption, criminality, and mounting threats from foreign totalitarian powers, then I believe we must safeguard and place power on the rights of each individual citizen and local community. Let Tribal Sovereignty of our First Nations serve all Americans as an example of how to contest the encroachment on personal freedom. Realistically, Science too shows that only solutions on the community scale: such as incentivizing social capital formation, local food growers, soil conservationist, backyard husbandry, crafts, innovation, micropower, and microgrid infrastructure, can address these problems that threaten the fabric of society. -------------------------------------------- ***Expect any threats to Territorial Sovereignty of Tribal or Individual property owners to be fought by me in congress - to include warrant less civil asset forfeiture in cases outside of crime. Power should be distributed not concentrated. ***I will push legislation in congress that not only ban and abolish such Unconstitutional Measures as the Patriot Act and Massive-Surveillances systems of previous presidential eras, but I will write addendums to federally criminalize use of private mass domestic surveillance that is publicly funded and not subject to Freedom of Information Act request. ***Schools that form successful mentoring partnerships with elder communities, facilities, and care centers in instructional capacity will see legislation that provides federal grants and inherent social benefits. ***I will reverse and repeal the Federal Patent laws that the incumbent Congressman enacted years back which favor large corporate entities paperwork filing machine over private citizen inventors blood, sweat, tinkering, and tears to create proof of concept. ***I will also make legislation that fully explores redirecting wasted Federal expenditures on incentivizing community level developments aforementioned - a good place to reduce expenditure would be to mandate relocating Headquarters of D.C. area Federal agencies to less expensive municipalities across the country.

***there is obviously more on this issue, but for starters I propose the following*** I am drafting a bill that would mandate an requirement for hospitals and clinics to post their standardized list of prices for services offered. Concurrently, the bill would allow tax write offs up to $1000/person for physical fitness activity. -up to $2k per joint filing couples -up to $3k per family with dependents -ideally extracted from Farm Bull Subsidies towards eclipsing that program Preliminary thoughts, but fitness activity could be in form of cardio: +steps taken (heart rate over exercise days can easily be tracked and recorded by an individual on modern technology nowadays) +all this takes is a new IRS form +IRS in their existing EIN systems can register gyms, pools, fit bit manufacturers, YMCAs, schools, private fitness studios, etc + professional trainers, coaches, intramurals, phys-ed teachers, yoga instructors, falun dafa, taibo, taichi instructors, etc will be able to print IRS vouchers staggered for credible activity per exercise days of members, students, and patrons This not only builds community social capital, but it creates a foul to the +15lbs the average American child has gained over the lockdown. We can make a lifestyle of healthy habbits among our youth that will benefit them throughout life, and in future generations they adopt or sire. If you don't believe me then I implore you to study "epigenetic tags" because I believe in science and history.

As with most hot topic issues the plutocracy has chosen to divide America on you may not agree with my position. I'm sorry, but I hope you can understand the perspectives from which I would approach policy here. First of all if you're not already aware of existing National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) then get so and see how the 2nd Ammendment has become more a political football than anything of substance. Gun reform is mostly centered around the topic of "safety" on the left and "property rights" on the right. As someone whose been trained&tried in the full range of use of small arms and in Ship Reaction Force response to situations requiring arms from piracy to deranged passengers/crew, my gut reaction is that the partisan discussion from the get go are off point and distractions. To begin with, the number of adolescent gun deaths in America resulting from accidental discharges traditionally overwhelms the active shooter incidents of recent years - both situations are horrifically tragic. Firearm use, storage, maintenance, and safety are basic responsibilities that there is simply a glaring lack of education on and TV is no teacher. https://everytownresearch.org/maps/notanaccident/ Now I grew up in a high crime area ---if you think the government will never come for your family talk to our Nisei American Elders ---I've sat at seminars in which Military Officers of younger generations than me have advocated internment as the right thing to do in event of wars ---the FBI has a known history of targeting civil rights leaders, law abiding minorities, Muslims, the mentality handicapped, and rescuing Americans from fake terror plots incentivized by their own informants and promotion structure; while high level officials and their families broker personal buisnesses deals on private back channels and email servers Metaline Falls, WA https://www.nichibei.org/2016/06/the-kaeru-kid-a-most-righteous-town/ More than that take homage in the fact that we live on the one country on earth whose people alone can defend against an alien invasion! We've all seen the movies! It's never the government that saves the day, it's we the salt of the earth!

How many of you have heard of this political talking point? "Affordable Housing" it's one of the new shiny empty promises that the political class are all the rage about. They've tapped into it alongside "equity & inclusion" because for those of my generation we've come of age in an era when our elected officials had the chance to give a lifeline to millions of Americans, and they chose the banks. The dream of homeownership slips further and further away with every terrible policy invention and move that devalues what meager lifesaving or nest eggs we have and raises cost of living. Yet, our political elite chose to bailout the very criminals that are responsible for the global financial collapse. They flew on personal jetliners to whine and dine the lobbyist that own our politicians, while you, your friends, and neighbors lost their homes. When the government deems something: "Too Big To Fail" they are also saying the common citizen is "Too Little To Matter." You matter, your neighbors matter, your community matters, and the normal people of our country matter I don't guarantee my policy move will be a cure all, but I have spent years researching means to reduce housing cost and make housing truly "affordable." I've frequented communities across the globe and our nation that have made it happen. I discovered our needs require an environment that the folks in the "Bottom Up Revolution" have been advocating for decades. The below google doc link is a sample of their philosophy, work, and collective wisdom. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vkiAQhf3moaEHUEiYAicgnWK-CgK1XlgQZ8bxrMNn_U/edit?usp=drivesdk I hate lending myself to misconception by biased media, which I'm sure will be inevitable. , However, the bottom line up front of my plans are: BLUF: I will submit to the house and/or support/co-sponsor legislation that favors small developers over large corporate ones. I will work on creating an avenue that will grant familes and young entrepreneurs to allow "mixed use zoning," generational homes, multiplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, and accessory dwelling units in single-family zones by right. I will push back against incorporated developers and empower individuals in local community development additionally by enacting community banking financing for missing middle and mixed use zoning projects only. This can be done similar to "first time homebuyer incentives" and limited to one project only per individual per number of years.

There is no reason, aside from stifling innovation for empty commercial gain, for repair shops and customers to not be able to opt for the release via open source or purchase of commodities of consumer goods like electronics, automobiles, houses, and like hardware. Take it from Steve Wozniak the creator of Apple, if repair culture that use to exist in America never did, than the world would be a very different place. https://youtu.be/CN1djPMooVY *** Learn more about Louis Rossmann and his team that have further education and insight into this subject at their social media pages: https://youtube.com/user/rossmanngroup *** How much consumer waste would be abated from landfills and young minds would be able create the next Apple, Microsoft - if we could establish extension of the same right to repair that the auto and industrial equipment industry should have to the consumer electronics industries and others? Let's get this done.

All my life I've heard our political and media class sing of the "equity and inclusion" they will deliver us. Bravery of people like Shannon Faulkner made her heroine and rolemodels for my geeration. However, 30+ years of political party talking pints have bought nothing but exclusion and illusion, or for some delusion. --------------------- In practice, I will employ and recruit diversity to my team and make of our policy that delivers the equal opportunity, mertitorcity, and cognitive diversity that I would expect of any ship I'd sail. On a vessel you can either do the job, learn to the job, or get off because incompetence is a danger to everyone else aboard and our government should be no different.

Tonight, we were making a milk run, because the toddler's go through milk like water. FredMeyers had a sale for $2.49 a gallon down from $2.89! While entering the grocers, some young punk near knocked us over as he bolted out of the store prize in hand. Now, shoplifting is often passed off as a low level misdemeanor - a victimless crime of folks down on their luck, or valley girls in growing pains. Somehow, I don't think those Doritos & booze are feeding his family though. So at the self-checkout, I asked the kiosk attendant does this happen often? She said yes, and. The uptick in petty theft was the real reason that FredMeyers had to shift from 2300 closing to 2100. Now, I used to work retail at Kmart and am no stranger to seeing theft, but for it to be so brazen and accepted says something that media won't bother to cover before the birthday of our nation. Folks like you and me who do the right thing, work hard, pay our bills, and raise our kids have to live in fear of fines and prison time. Kuow/Komo made sure we knew that over fireworks before the 4th of July. You can be an essential worker through the pandemic and you will hear the talking heads give you passing praise. Yet, your right to shop a little later after a hard days work, and counting nickles saved on a gallon of gas, milk, or the water bill means nothing in the face of some partisan talking point for criminal "reform." I just want good governance like you, and I suspect you also want to be able to not live in a society where criminal punks are not given free reign. You know as well as I do that things are moving in the direction where they can test the limits while our hard working communities foot the bill. Think about where things are headed the next time you see a tweeker urinating in broad daylight, shooting up, a panhandler with an apple airpod, or have your mail stolen. ---------------------- As your congressperson, I will author and support legislation that protects our children, and puts victims first. Starting with the criminals at the top that spy on our children, rob our retirement funds, sell out our country, and embezzle our tax dollars while making little princes of their offspring. Criminals have a place they belong where they're not victimizing good people and have the opportunity to better themselves. I will also do away with abhorrent commercialized for-profit-prisions that have donated all too often in excess to the campaigns of the lawyer class, and work on prision reform that actually works, rather than sounds nice behind smokescreens of deception.

Never trust a career politician. If they truly fixed things, their career would be over. Sea's intention is NEVER to be a career poltician, but to create teams of statesmen that will do a job, apprentice fellow citizens, and then turnover to the next generation of leadership. Get involved, this is how we cut through beurocracts' bile and take back our republic. *** Message Below*** We have allowed a plutocracy to infect and rot our political system. I am a son of immigrants, merchant marine and Navy officer running for Congress on platform of instituting change of command and real solutions. I'm not interested in partisan division and arguments or decades in D.C. Please help me help all of us parents and patriots realize a future for our middle class children better than the ruin folks on the hill are leading us into. A future where neither our International District, nor planet are burning, and pursuit of happiness isn't shackled by the oversight of people calling themselves our betters. The solutions have always been in our hands, help me spread the word and replace do nothing incumbents leeching our taxes and haters seeking celebrity. -------------- American history shows innovation doesnt come from the top, but from those of us among the hardworking middle and bottom, we blue collar, family prioritizers, mainstreet, growers, mechanics, engineers, artist, faithful, service industrialist, every flavor of associates that with the sweat of our brows are the real architects keeping the machinery of this great country running. These professional lawyered career politicians simply feed beurocracy, not implement solutions. Isn't it high past time we normal people get a voice?

We don't have to accept incompetence, ignorance, and corruption as a given on the hill. The overarching theme of my bid for office is discontent with celebrity and spectacle of governance.
